What's been up?

Howdy bloggers....I haven't done any blogging in weeks, haven't read any either. I've been busy, bored with it, and generally just not feelin' it. Please don't judge me....I'm a dude so I'm not real smart, and I can be non-committal on stuff like that and all. But I'm feeling bloggy this morning so what the heck.....

As everyone well knows by now.....we went to NOLA for a little weekend trip to see Read from My Trek Downward and it was just awesome. Theresa and Read hit it off like long lost sorority sisters and the party was on. Read is just great...very cute, witty and lots of fun.... I knew this about her already though, I'm not sure how but I just kinda knew it. Unfortunately, I began imbibing about noon on that day, was at the Cat's Meow drinking Hurricanes at 2, Read shows up at like 3 and the evil bartender at said establishment over served me from that point forward. I vaguely remember certain details about the evening the last of which is waking up in the hotel room with Theresa and Read taking funny pictures of me passed out. I forgave them because they did the man work of finding our luggage downstairs while I recovered. I did not pace myself....end of story.

Read did some singin' and dancin'....here are a few videos for your enjoyment:

She says this will be her first and last time......doubtful by the look of things huh?

I am proud to report that I have joined Crossfit and am going through the "fundamentals" phase of getting back in shape. Squats are evil and I can barely walk right now but I'm motivated and I enjoy it so far. It has a military type feel to it and I'm very familiar with that......gotta stick it out.

I know my blogging hiatus is just wrong but I still love you guys! I love ya! Especially Theresa! Love ya Theresa! Don't be mad at me. As you all well know....I'm just a guy.

  3. OMG - that's so bad!!! But it was sooo fun!

Is it bad that I have no recollection of the dancing?? I'm not thinking you were the only one a little tipsy!!

  4. I.Am.So.Jealous that you joined CrossFit! I was scheduled to start there next Monday but put it on hold until I have my band removed/sleeve surgery. I am hoping to get back to exercising 4 weeks after surgery but doc told me Crossfit, because of the intensity will have to wait at least 6 weeks :(

I spoke to Theresa yesterday and she cheered me up though! I'm glad your blogging again because she is 'Krabby' today and she is happy when you blog!

  5. Do you see me? I'm glaring at you with the Cold Eyes of Judgment. Please not the sarcasm as I just got back from a 6 week hiatus myself. Looks like y'all had a blast. All I remember about the Cat's Meow from my own NOLA trips years ago is they used to serve "buy one, get 3 free bottles of beer." My husband ordered, thinking they'd be shitty cans of beer, and whattayouknow? They were bottles!

  6. That's the good thing about blogs - you write when you feel like it. I can understand Theresa nagging you about it though, because I reckon that if you write well it's a sin not to. If you can't think what to say why not tell us about your childhood or illspent youth? With your quirky turn of phrase I bet it would be entertaining...

  7. I'm catching up on some blog reading so pardon the late comment. I just started looking into CrossFit and I'm kind of terrified and excited at the same time. Everyone that I know who has done it has the same thing to say...hard but worth it.
