Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Some pictures of my flowers.....as promised. Have a great Wednesday! I opted not to post the possum (opossum for Amanda) pics....too gruesome.

 Pink knockout rose
                                           Amaryllis
 Indian hawthorne and amaryllis
                                              Clematis
 White knockout
                                                 House front
Hannah Rae bottle brush (only 3 years old- 12" tall when planted.)
Grapes on pergola (notice dead soldier on table).

 Grapes on pergola
Grape clusters (stop sign hidden in picture for all you Waldo people.)
This is me with a rare cajun Tessie Rose flower.
It kisses you when you feed it with wine and crawfish.
Very fickle flower though.....

  1. Aww I love these pictures, I will have to get my camera out and take some of my yard, it's something new every day now! Love the tessie rose pics best though, very sweet!

  2. Totally amazing pictures. Unfortunately neither my husband's nor my thumbs are even remotely green. I do try though - but I don't get anything close to what you've got going on. Well done!!

  7. Great pics and flowers! I wish I had some flowers in my yard. As soon as we stop renting and buy a house I want to plant a beautiful garden. My granny had a green thumb and I think I could too.

Ya'll are so sweet together. I just love it!

  10. Clematis is very popular in England - Montana does really well, but the more exotic looking ones take too much looking after, and suddenly die on you without so much as a wave goodbye. When I first moved in I threw myself into planting, hanging baskets and gardening generally, but typical Gemini I got fed up with it after a couple of seasons and left it to take care of itself... which it didn't really. My much loved mimosa tree died on me last winter, which took the wind out of me.
A well tended garden really transforms the appearance of a house, doesn't it? Yours really looks lovely.
